Lakeside Lara for Ingenia Communities

The Lakeside Lara Community Hub is a new facility which accommodates a range of amenities and activities for residents of the community.

The Community Hub embodies the essence of a quintessential ‘town centre’ – serving as a gathering point for residents to come together and forge meaningful connections.

The project is derived from a residential sensibility and is a deliberate departure from a typically commercial aesthetic often associated with similar projects. Instead, it aspires to seamlessly integrate into the fabric of residents' daily lives, functioning as a seamless extension of their homes—a space they can claim ownership of and take immense pride in.

The building is subtly divided into two parts under the one roof – the community facilities and a wellness retreat. The wellness retreat offers facilities such as a yoga studio, 20m pool, steam room and consultant rooms. Other community facilities include an art studio, private dining space, pool tables, bar, golf simulator and a theatre.

At the heart of the Hub lies the shared residents' kitchen—a symbolic centerpiece that celebrates the spirit of communal gathering and culinary creativity. It serves as a testament to the collective enthusiasm for cooking and community engagement, further fostering a sense of camaraderie among residents.

The selection of materials employed in the Community Hub has been curated to evoke an ambiance of warmth and comfort, thereby augmenting the overarching homely ambiance of the space. These carefully chosen elements come together harmoniously to create an environment that truly feels like home—an inviting sanctuary where residents can thrive and create lasting memories.
